We’re Dean and Erika, the team behind the brand.

Dean is the pilot and creative force. With over 30 years in aviation, he’s flown fixed-wing aircraft, hot air balloons, and gliders — and aviation has been part of his identity for as long as he can remember. Once he tapped into his artistic side, the designs began to flow naturally, inspired by the aircraft, history, and moments that make flying unforgettable.

Erika runs the behind the scenes — the website, marketing, and social media — using years of combined experience in branding, online presence, and digital strategy to bring Whiskey Sierra to life and into the world.

We created Whiskey Sierra because we couldn’t find aviation apparel we actually wanted to wear. Everything felt dated, boring, or slapped on the front as an afterthought. We wanted something modern, bold, and meaningful — apparel that aviation lovers could wear proudly on the ramp, at the airport, or out exploring.

Whiskey Sierra is affectionately named after our Bonanza A36, “She,” the aircraft that carries us on as many adventures as possible. Travel and discovery are a huge part of who we are, and aviation is what makes it all possible.
